⚾ Championship Round – Raleigh vs. Caminero
The final showdown came down to endurance. Raleigh stepped up first and unloaded 18 total home runs, bringing his Derby total to a staggering 54 bombs, averaging 430 feet in distance and an exit velocity of 105.6 mph.
Caminero started hot, but ran out of pitches before time expired. He finished with 15 in regulation and couldn't find the final three needed in the bonus round. Raleigh raised his arms in victory, joined by his father (who pitched to him) and his younger brother (his Derby catcher), as the crowd erupted.
To top it off, Cody Rhodes entered with a custom WWE x Home Run Derby championship belt, presenting it to Raleigh, who now joins Ken Griffey Jr. as the only Mariners to ever win the Derby.

🎙️ MainEvent.News | BackStage Take:
Forget the debates. Cal Raleigh just carved his name into Derby lore. With the poise of a veteran and the swagger of a slugger built for the moment, he brought honor to Seattle and fireworks to Atlanta. Oneil Cruz may have hit the longest balls, but it was Raleigh who hit the ones that counted. Caminero showed the future is bright — but tonight, the crown belongs to “The Big Dumper.”
