Crews Battle Growing Wildfire Near Marysville, California in Yuba County
Firefighters in Northern California are working to contain a wildfire that broke out Sunday morning in Yuba County, near the town of Dobbins.
According to Cal Fire, the blaze — dubbed the Marysville Fire — was first reported around 11:24 a.m. near Marysville Road, just west of the New Bullards Bar Reservoir. As of 2:15 p.m., the fire had scorched approximately 20 acres.
At this time, no evacuation warnings or orders have been issued. Crews remain on scene actively attacking the flames, and air support has been deployed to assist in containment efforts.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
