Five Nights at Freddy’s Joins Halloween Horror Nights 2025—Animatronic Terror Comes to Life

Universal Studios is dialing the fear factor up to eleven.
Two iconic horror IPs—Five Nights at Freddy’s and WWE’s The Wyatt Sicks—are taking over Halloween Horror Nights 2025 in both Hollywood and Orlando, offering fans double the fright and double the immersion.
For fans of FNAF, the legendary horror game-turned-blockbuster film, this year’s haunted house experience is a dream—and a nightmare—come true. Visitors will walk in the footsteps of Mike Schmidt (played by Josh Hutcherson in the 2023 movie) as he begins his shift as the night guard at the twisted, decaying Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria.
But once inside, it’s lights out—literally. What starts as an empty pizza joint quickly devolves into a living hell of animatronic nightmares.
Guests will be stalked by life-sized recreations of Freddy, Chica, Bonnie, Foxy, and even Mr. Cupcake, created in collaboration with the renowned Jim Henson’s Creature Shop, the same team behind the film’s hauntingly realistic animatronics and costumes. From the eerie security room to the animatronic-filled show stage, the walkthrough promises iconic scenes pulled straight from the movie.
The 2023 Blumhouse adaptation of FNAF raked in over $291 million globally, making it one of the biggest horror hits of the year. And with Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 set to drop in theaters on December 5, 2025, the franchise is showing no signs of slowing down.
Halloween Horror Nights 2025 is shaping up to be a fan-fueled frenzy of fear—and Five Nights at Freddy’s may just steal the show.
These houses will be featured at HHN events on both coasts. The Orlando version kicks off at Universal Studios Florida on Aug. 29, while the Hollywood edition starts on Sept. 4. Both events will take over their respective parks on select nights through Nov. 2.
MainEvent.News | Backstage Take:
FNAF isn’t just a video game turned movie—it’s a cultural obsession that blends nostalgia, fear, and fandom into one immersive nightmare. Bringing it to Halloween Horror Nights is a masterstroke by Universal. This is the kind of experiential horror today's thrill-seekers crave. Cable is too slow, streaming is too passive—fans want to step inside their nightmares. And Universal is giving it to them.
🎟️ Tickets are on sale now for Halloween Horror Nights, beginning August 29 at Universal Studios Florida and Hollywood.
