Tyler, The Creator Drops Clean Version of “Don’t Tap the Glass” After Fan Request

Tyler, the Creator just proved he’s not only for the deep thinkers and hip-hop heads — he’s for the kids, too.
After a fan hit him up on X asking for a clean version of his new album Don’t Tap the Glass so his little brother could vibe without the expletives, Tyler responded with a simple promise: “On it.” And true to his word, the Grammy-winning artist dropped a clean version just days later on Friday, July 25.
“DONT TAP THE GLASS clean version OUT NOW,” Tyler confirmed on X, showing once again that he listens — and acts.

This marks the first time Tyler has ever released a clean album version on streaming platforms, available now on Apple Music and likely headed to others. For parents, educators, and younger fans who want to vibe with Tyler without the explicit content, this is a long-awaited win.
The original Don’t Tap the Glass dropped Monday, July 21, featuring 10 tracks with guest appearances from Pharrell, Yebba, and Madison McFerrin. While Tyler’s artistry remains unapologetically bold, this move opens the door for a new, younger audience to join the ride.
Clean Album Available in iTunes.
🎤 MainEvent.News | Backstage Take:
This wasn’t about chart domination or image polish — it was about heart. Tyler didn’t just respond to a fan’s tweet, he responded to a generation. This move cements him as an artist who hears the streets, the stages, and the stroller lanes alike.
