🧪 Gameplay: What’s in the Beta?
Expect multiplayer action with multiple maps and modes, and something new—loadout flexibility. Players can choose between class-locked or free-for-all weapon loadouts, catering to both traditionalists and modern FPS fans.

While the exact maps and game modes are still under wraps, Battlefield 6 is rumored to include:

  • A new campaign mode
  • The return of Portal
  • A battle royale mode (not confirmed for beta)
  • And a flexible weapon loadout system allowing you to play it your way

Will Beta Progress Carry Over?
Unlikely. Historically, Battlefield betas do not carry progress into the final game. So, enjoy the chaos—just don’t get too attached.

📦 Preload Starts August 4

🗣️ MainEvent.News | Backstage Take:

EA knows it’s got to win back trust after Battlefield 2042’s rocky launch—and this open beta is its first major shot. Giving players control over class restrictions is a clear nod to fan feedback. But can the gameplay live up to the hype before Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 steals the spotlight in November? We’ll find out soon.
