Israeli Airstrikes Intensify as Iran’s Missile Attacks Weaken

As the conflict enters its sixth day, Israeli forces launched a fresh wave of airstrikes targeting key infrastructure in Iran overnight, while Tehran responded with a reduced missile barrage toward Israeli territory.
Explosions were reported near Tehran at dawn, following Israeli strikes that reportedly hit a major missile production site and an academy affiliated with Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
Prior to the strikes, the Israeli military issued an evacuation notice for residents of Tehran’s District Eighteen—a mixed-use area housing both military installations and civilian neighborhoods.
In retaliation, Iran fired additional missiles into Israel, claiming the use of a hypersonic weapon. Air raid sirens were triggered twice overnight across parts of Israel, though no casualties have been reported at this time.
Military analysts note a noticeable decrease in the scale of Iran’s missile attacks, suggesting Israeli air operations have significantly degraded Iran’s offensive capabilities.
Meanwhile, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei reiterated Tehran’s stance in a series of multilingual social media posts, including one in Hebrew. Declaring “the battle begins,” he reaffirmed that Iran would never negotiate or compromise with Israel.
The situation remains volatile, with both nations continuing to exchange fire amid growing international concern.
